Message from the President
Dear Graduates, Families, Distinguished Guests, Members of the Board of Directors, Faculty, Staff, Recruiters, Industry Partners, and Friends of Cambrooks College,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 13th Graduation Ceremony of Cambrooks College. Today, we celebrate not only the accomplishments of our graduates but also an important milestone in our institution's history—15 years of transforming lives through quality, affordable, career-focused education.
Over the past fifteen years, Cambrooks College has grown from a vision into a vibrant learning community that has prepared several students for meaningful careers across Alberta and beyond. As we celebrate this anniversary, we reflect with gratitude on how far we have come and look forward with confidence to an even brighter future.
To our graduates, congratulations! Your success today is the result of hard work, determination, resilience, and sacrifice. Many of you balanced your studies with work, family responsibilities, and other challenges. Today, your perseverance has paid off. Your diploma represents more than academic achievement—it is a symbol of your commitment to building a better future for yourselves, your families, and your communities.
This year also marks another exciting step forward for Cambrooks College as we introduce our first-ever paperless graduation brochure. Through a simple QR code, our graduates and guests can access the entire graduation program digitally. This initiative reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and embracing technology to improve the student experience while reducing our environmental footprint.
I extend my sincere appreciation to our outstanding faculty and staff, whose dedication and passion have equipped our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed. I also thank our Board of Directors for their visionary leadership and steadfast support in advancing the mission of Cambrooks College.
On this special occasion, I would like to offer special recognition to Ms. Pamela Paul, our College Manager, who has faithfully served Cambrooks College for over twelve years. Her dedication, hard work, professionalism, and countless sacrifices have played a significant role in the growth and success of our institution. Pamela, thank you for your unwavering commitment and for being an invaluable member of the Cambrooks College family.
We are honoured to welcome our distinguished keynote speaker, Mr. Deryck Greer. Thank you for accepting our invitation to inspire our graduates as they begin the next chapter of their lives. We are equally grateful to our recruiters, employers, and industry collaborators for believing in our graduates and providing opportunities that connect education with meaningful careers. Your continued partnership is vital to the success of our students and our institution.
To the families and friends of our graduates, thank you for your love, encouragement, and unwavering support. Today's celebration belongs to you as much as it belongs to our graduates.
Graduates, as you leave Cambrooks College, remember that learning does not end today—it begins a new chapter. Continue to grow, embrace innovation, lead with integrity, and serve others with compassion. Stay connected with your alma mater, support one another, and take pride in being ambassadors of Cambrooks College wherever life takes you. I strongly encourage you to honour your repayment obligations responsibly for your student loans so that future students may continue to benefit from these opportunities.
As Nelson Mandela wisely said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." I encourage you to use your education not only to build successful careers but also to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
On behalf of everyone at Cambrooks College, congratulations once again to the Class of 2026. We are proud of your achievements and excited to see the impact you will make in your professions and communities.
